The story involves a vengeance-seeking yūrie and the psychotic, creepy trichophile, Yamazaki. The film has well-done CGI and Yamazaki's disturbing proclivities contribute to the creepiness. The double-disc special edition DVD release includes widescreen presentation, audio formatting, English and Japanese subtitles, and extras like a music video, TV spots, deleted scenes, and a behind-the-scenes clip with a Q&A with co-writer and director Sion Sono. The actors all did an excellent job, and the film is a new style compared to Sono's other works which makes it a little off-beat, but it still hits home with its killer storytelling.
