The installation is easy, and it works well with the Anchor mode/autopilot and jog features. However, this heading sensor does not contain a GPS receiver or change/control the orientation or angle of the boat. It does have a hard time in stronger winds and can float off course about 5%. It is necessary to Consult the manufacturer of your trolling motor for the recommended gauge of wire if you have to extend beyond the 12.5 feet to reach batteries. Overall, the Minn Kota 1866680 i-Pilot Heading Sensor Spot-Lock BT Bluetooth, PowerDrive & Riptide PowerDrive White is a great product that works as it should and is easy to install.
