The 2.5" HDD tray/bracket can be removed to install the hard drive, but the system is not for a removable (hot swap) hard drive. The case can only install two SSD 2.5. It can accommodate mini-ITX form factor motherboards only. The case doesn't come with a standard mini ITX rear IO panel.
