It has a load limit of 2.2lbs and dimensions of 15 inches long, 12.5 inches wide, and the post is about 23 inches above the base, which is itself about 1.5 inches high. The horizontal piece needs to be slid onto the vertical piece from the bottom, before it is bolted to the base. The stand holds small and lightweight cameras like Coolpix and Canon T6, and works well as specified. There were some minor issues with the bolts and nuts, but they were easily resolved. However, the steel mast is not very stable, and oscillates noticeably, which can blur images when zoomed in.
