Some customers also prefer the RS175 to the RS170 as it only requires a switch on the earphone for activation and will then turn on the base station. These headphones connect via 3.5mm headphone jack or optical out and do not seem to have any sound delay. However, some customers were not impressed with the surround sound quality.
