    antwoord: Check it out again, are they identical sized packs, otherwise three packs @ £7.99 is going to only cost you £23.97

    antwoord: 1 bag. Change 50% now and then the other 50% in 6 months. Then buy another bag and continue indefinitely. Never change all in one go

    antwoord: I have a 30 ltr and put 1 pack in,but reading the instructions can put in more as the more of it the better filtration becomes.so approx 4 to 5 bags

    antwoord: Hi , you can use the ceramic media in other tanks/systems. It is designed as a bio media which is part of the filtration for the Biorb tanks.

    antwoord: Yes, washing it before putting it into the tank would be a good idea, just to get any dust off.

    antwoord: I would say 3, as I have a 40ltr and only needed 2.

    antwoord: Yes, we kept losing small fish (tetra for e.g.) as they’d end up in the filter system (basically found them on the sponge). Lost 6 fish in quite quick succession, tried doubling up media with no luck. Changed tanks in the end.

The ceramic media is sharp, making it hazardous to use in turtle tanks or for bottom feeders. It is made of ceramic pebbles providing a lot of surface area for beneficial bacteria. Rinse it first to remove dust and grit before using it to avoid scratching your betta or other aquatic pets. Customer experience and reception: - Some customers noted the package contained more rocks than they expected while others found many pieces too large for their tank. - Buyers need to discard any rocks below 0.5 inches as they can clog the filter tube, and the manufacturer won't be responsible for fixing the tank should that happen. - Opinions varied regarding the number of bags required for specific aquarium sizes, ranging from one to four or more bags, depending on the tank dimensions and the desired look. - Some customers like how the media looks in their tanks, while others had concerns about how sharp it is and its impact on their aquatic pets. - Live plants and soil-based substrates are not recommended; instead, plants that attach themselves to rocks such as Java Moss are ideal.
