Would these work to blend cotton and 0000 steel wool? Yes I know this is an odd thing to ask.
antwoord: Hi RodXXXPlease understand I have not tried this, but it is my belief that because the steel wool is so fine at that gauge, it would work. My main concern is not whether the tool would handle it, (keep in mind you get two so that extends your life a little bit), but whether the steel wool would tear the cotton apart. Colonial Needle Fiber Blender Tools are a set of small blending tools designed for blending wools. Despite the misleading packaging dimensions, which caused disappointment for some customers, these tools are well made and perfect for small scale projects such as felting crochet items. However, it is clear that these tools are too small to be effective for medium to full sized wool/fleece carding.
