This is a mixed bed color changing resin that is primarily used for an RODI system. One should add carbon and other pillows in their tank filters or sump. The beads are relatively small to work as a fish tank filter, and make more pollutants. The product is refillable, and the existing lid and foam can be used again. Some customers find it doesn't last long in comparison with other products on the market. However, it is much cheaper than prefilled canisters, and customers may use it to refill the cartridge that came with an RODI system. Refilling one's filter is cheaper than purchasing a new one. The product does work for a car wash system. Reviews are mixed, with some customers unsatisfied and others finding it a good value.
