The sticky tape on the back of the motion sensor module seems to be adhesive and keeps the sensor in place. While the motion sensor is not the most responsive, taking about a second to detect the opening of a cabinet door, it is still more convenient than hunting for a switch in the dark. The light itself is bright and provides even coverage. One downside of the product is the limited options for additional lights.
