It can be programmed via an app on a cell phone, and the lights show what's going on with the unit. The setup can be challenging, which may be difficult for non-tech users, and the documentation needs improvement. Some customers have reported reliability issues, but others have not experienced any problems. The Unifi access point can sync with the UniFi Dream Machine or other systems to provide excellent coverage for larger homes. The device is expensive and may be overpriced for home use.
