Encyclopedias & Subject Guides Editorial Review
** The Ultimate Cigar Encyclopedia** "The Ultimate Cigar Encyclopedia" has made a significant impression on cigar enthusiasts, garnering praise for its wealth of information and engaging presentation. Customers have noted the book's extensive coverage of over 200 cigar brands and its impressive array of 100 full-color photographs, which enhance the reading experience. One user highlighted the book’s value, remarking on its affordability compared to a previously purchased, more expensive version. Many agree that the book serves as an excellent resource for both serious aficionados and casual users, making it an ideal companion for leisurely cigar sessions or as a conversation starter on a coffee table. However, while the content is generally well-received, some reviews mentioned that the encyclopedia contains outdated information, particularly regarding newer cigar brands that have gained popularity in the United States since 2014. Despite these criticisms, the book's historical insights into cigar manufacturing, the Cuban influence, and the factors surrounding the embargo are appreciated by readers, adding depth to their understanding of the cigar world. Overall, "The Ultimate Cigar Encyclopedia" is regarded as a solid addition to any cigar lover's library, though potential buyers should be aware of its limitations regarding recent brands. **
