The Bachmann Trains Thomas & Friends Thomas The Tank Engine with Moving Eyes is a small HO scale model that runs on an electric train track. It does not make steam whistle sounds but the eyes move back and forth as it runs. It is loved by grandchildren but may struggle on hills when pulling cars. The wheels do not move if you push the engine, it only works on a track. The train is about 4 inches long and cannot free wheel. The $63 price is for the train engine only and does not include tracks. It is not compatible with Hornby OO scale or LGB trains, as it is designed specifically for HO scale.
