antwoord: No, plastic parts. All metal and very durable. Get this version, you will not regret it. It’s worth the price. -

antwoord: There is an adjustment screw. I'd describe the coarsest setting to be medium. If you are looking for 'cracked' pepper, this is not the mill for you. However, the removable cap on the bottom is a great feature, and I love this mill. -

antwoord: No! It does not. Needs the bottom cup attached to stand. But the BEST mill ever. Have tried so many and this one is by far our favorite. -

antwoord: Metal, this grinder works very well. It does not grind as coarse as I would like, but it will grind a large amount of pepper in a short amount of time. Very much worth the investment.
