Its motor is powerful enough, and it has two or three power settings that work well even on the lower speed settings. The device does not emit smoke or fumes, and the air no longer smells of flux or solder fumes. The only downside is the cost which seems high compared to a standard wet/dry vacuum cleaner with HEPA filter. The duct should have been at least 12 inches longer.
