Rode Mounts SB20 Editorial Review
The Rode Stereo Bar is a functional option for mounting small condenser microphones in a stereo configuration. It has clear ruled markings for easy and Consistent setup, including spacers for offsetting an XY pair and markings for ORTF. The bar comes with threaded adapters that allow you to mount mic holders with a 5/8-inch thread, although some reviewers have noted that these adapters should be included with the product. However, the price of the Rode Stereo Bar is a common point of criticism. Many reviewers feel that the plastic Construction does not justify the high cost, especially Considering that cheaper options are available. Some customers also express disappointment in the lack of a 5/8-inch thread option and the need for additional adapters. Overall, the Rode Stereo Bar is a functional and well-designed option for setting up a stereo pair of microphones. However, the high price and lack of included adapters are drawbacks that may leave customers looking for more affordable alternatives.
