According to the Size & Fit Guide, the belts are measured from the inside edge of the buckle to the center hole, and it is recommended to order one full size larger than your waist size. The belt wears quickly, according to a reviewer, but some customers have also given positive comments about the belt's longevity. The buckle has broken for one reviewer after two years while it lasted much longer for another customer.
