The Five Oceans Boat Cowl Vent is a low-profile and UV-resistant PVC vent that provides great ventilation for sailboats and marine boats. It comes with a snap-on deck plate for easy installation and has a watertight design. The cowl vent is available in a 4-inch diameter and fits perfectly into a 4-inch vent. It is recommended to install the vents facing forward and stern to ensure better airflow and less water intake. However, these vents do not come with a screen, which could be a downside for some users. Customer Experience: The customers' experiences with the Five Oceans Boat Cowl Vent were mixed. While some customers found them easy to install and a perfect replacement for their old cowl vents, others faced issues with their PVC material turning brown and sticky after some time.
