This Mini Quick change tool post holder set is a budget-friendly option that works well for its intended purpose. It allows the user to centre cutting tools on the workpiece without shimming and can fit 5/16 or 1/4" tools without readjustment. However, some users have experienced issues with the cam lock mechanism requiring sanding, while the tool holder lock screws were slightly obstructed. The product is an improvement for quick center-line adjustments, with the tooling being decent for the money. The Carbide inserts are not a standard size, and the set comes with unsharpened boring bars that need sharpening with a diamond hone. It works well for plastic and light cuts in aluminum but has noticeable flex when parting and turning steel. The product did not fit on one user's 8x14 import mini lathe and appeared to be made for a 7x10-14 mini lathe. The Carbide inserts and boring bars need some adjustments but, for the price, get the job done.
