Our Acetate-EDTA buffer may be used for both genomic and large supercoiled DNA, and as a gel preparation buffer. It is perfect for DNA fragment analysis, nucleic acid separation, DNA extraction, and genomic DNA isolation.

With a lower buffering capacity than TBE buffer, periodic replacement of the buffer during prolonged electrophoresis is recommended. However, dsDNA runs faster with TAE buffer than TBE. Our 50X concentrated TAE buffer should be diluted with molecular biology grade water to 1X before use.
