This barrier is designed to extend the protection of your fence underground, keeping your pets safe inside and preventing predators from entering your property. Made with US Galvanized Steel right here in the USA, this animal barrier is built to last. Each barrier measures 24 inches in width and 15 inches in depth, with 1.5 inches of spacing between the spikes.
Easy to install, this barrier requires no maintenance once in place. Whether you have a chain link or wooden privacy fence, the Dig Defence No-Dig XL Animal Barrier is compatible with both. For chain link fences, simply place the spikes over the bottom wire or interlock them with the fence. On wooden fences, you can install the barriers from either the inside or outside of the fence, driving them straight down. To ensure a secure and effective installation, it is recommended to use a hammer and gloves while hitting each spike evenly.
In case one or more spikes come in contact with a rock, you can either remove the spike or bend it out of the way. And if the ground is particularly hard, you can try saturating it with water or installing the barriers after rainfall. Please note that this product contains chemicals that may be harmful and are known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
