The 4 channel DP-4 dosing pump is a cost-effective solution for dosing alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium to a reef tank, according to a customer. The product's peristaltic pumps are not strong, hence can't pull or push very far. The tubing required for the dosing is a standard one with 1/4" airline tubing. The seals from the rollers inside the pump, if not sealing, can cause the pump to siphon in the wrong direction.
