The file is 15/16" wide, 3/16" thick, and 11 3/4" long, with a thickness of 0.18" at the working end and 0.16" at the handle. The metal handle is attached to the file, making it easy to use. Some users have reported issues with warping and dullness, as well as concerns about the manufacturing location, as Crescent has moved its production overseas in recent years. Despite these criticisms, the file remains a popular choice for metalworking and sharpening tasks.
