Cedar Rapids is sweet without being cloying, funny without being manic, and even a little sad at times, without ever turning up the violins on the soundtrack.

Blu-ray Editorial Review
Cedar Rapids [Blu-ray] is a charming comedy featuring Ed Helms as the innocent insurance salesman Tom Lippe, making his first trip to the 'big city' of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for a conference. The film cleverly mixes humor and drama, supported by a fantastic cast that includes John C. Reilly and Anne Heche, with excellent comedic moments and character development throughout. Viewers appreciate the unexpected plot twists and the relatable coming-of-age story that resonates with many, particularly those from rural backgrounds. Many found the performances captivating and an enjoyable blend of raunchy humor and heartfelt storytelling, making it a worthwhile watch for comedy lovers.
