Although it's not easily removed from the bases, it's possible to remove the post if desired through grinding. They can be used on fields with anchor sockets, but if not, you would have to dig a hole in the ground to take the post, which takes more time and effort. Also, if you are planning to use these bases on your lawn, be aware that you would have a big hole left in your yard afterward. These bases are not recommended for indoor use.
