BSN Smartpole Ground Sockets BSN Smartpole Ground Sockets are a useful addition for temporary fencing. They can successfully hold a 1" or 1 1/4" pvc pipe for your fencing needs. However, they are not recommended for setting up batting cages as per expert opinion and would only be suitable for temporary fencing. These ground sockets are easy to install, and the fence is simple to set up. If you are looking for fencing options for camping, it would be suitable as long as the ground sockets can be taken out.
