antwoord: I just measured a hanger of mine and the wood is 10 3/4-inch -

When you unclamp the hanger, can the bottom of the hook fall off the hanger like the black plastic versions or is it permanently connected to the bar?
antwoord: No, I bought these pants hangers to avoid those flimsy plastic hooks. They work very well and stabilize the trouser cuffs. They are a bit more costly than the black plastic hook, but well worth the extra cash to avoid aggravation. -

Picture from woodlore. Com does not have a stamp that says woodlore on their cedar pant hangers and are cheaper please tell me the difference
antwoord: My stamped Woodlore hangers have a length similar to no brands, but the latter have a height if only 1 1/8' and the former 1 1/2. Overall the Woodlores are sturdier, as they should be for the difference in price. -

Just got my hangers. Is the top part supposed to be bent, almost at a right angle?
antwoord: The hook portion should be bent until you pull it upright to hold the pants in place. There is a slight angle when it's ready to be hung but nothing unusual. -

can i use these bare cedar hangers to hand wet/damp pant and slacks?
antwoord: You can hang any piece of clothes on these wooden hangers but they will get crimped because they got hung damp/wet. It's quite sturdy and but heavy, it will do the job. -

I hang my dress slacks upside down. They r a thin material and all the new pant hangers they slip thru. How gud are they at gripping thin material?
antwoord: I also hang my pants by the cuff end even though my pants don't have cuffs. These are the best. They grip very tight. Discount store hangers are NO GOOD AT ALL. -

Do these have the metal Allen Edmonds name plate on the other side? All of my existing ones do.
antwoord: Mine do not have a metal plate, but I bought them several years ago. -

Are these hangers stainable? all my current hangers are brass handle, walnut wood. trying to match. thanks!
antwoord: Not sure about staining them walnut but if you sanded them really well it might work. Ask someone at a paint store or home improvement store.
