IWGAME Controllers Editorial Review
The overall reception of the controller as a replacement for the PlayStation 5 is largely positive, particularly for its reasonable price point. Several users have highlighted its seamless plug-and-play compatibility with both the PS5 and PC, noting the absence of complicated driver installations. Many praised the controller's comfortable feel, likening its profile to that of the official DualSense controller. This similarity appears to enhance user experience, especially in terms of grip and control, which is crucial during gaming sessions. However, a few notable concerns have been raised regarding specific tactile responses. The shoulder buttons, while functional, lack travel and offer minimal feedback, which can hinder gameplay for those who prefer a more responsive touch. Additionally, some users found the face buttons to be less than satisfactory, describing them as mushy with inadequate feedback. The inclusion of back buttons received mixed reviews, with some users appreciating their presence and others noting their awkward positioning. While the controller excels in functionality and comfort for many, there are issues reported with certain features such as the R2 trigger not registering and problems with the headset port, which may deter potential buyers who seek a fully integrated gaming experience. Nonetheless, the controller's affordability and ease of use make it a commendable option for gamers looking for alternatives to more expensive OEM controllers. **
