The PITCO Envelope Filter is a product made in the USA with paper from the USA, but the filters are Constructed outside the USA. This means that the conversion process happens in China and other places around the world. The compatibility of this filter with the Pitco SSHLV14 is uncertain, but one customer has reported no difference in the filtered oil output when using it with their Pitco solstice supreme. The filter is sold in 100-count packaging and there is an 18.5x20.25 sized option with a 1.5" hole on one side, however, the product does not fit well. Some customers experienced repeated filter paper tearing and clogging of their filter motor while using this product. It is recommended to only use this product in a pinch if regular filter paper runs out, although it is a good value for money.
