    antwoord: Sorry but all your answers are wrong They are brass wound at the ball, the INNER CORE IS HIGH-STRESS STEEL yes.. HOWEVER, THE WINDINGS (outer wound coil of metal) is nickel coated steel same as in the nickel super slinkies. So yes the inner is steel but it's not low stressed or strength carbon its the high strength/stressed steel and there is a huge difference in stability and playability in longevity between ... low stress or LOW-grade carbon steel rusts easily and is soft, it breaks hi strength carbon steel is much stronger, will not rust like low-grade carbon steel at all. It's a whole different animal. its tempered in ways low carbon is not.

    antwoord: Yes, these can be used on an acoustic according to an outside retailer. But they don't say standard or electric acoustic. These are cheap enough to experiment with though to see if they will work for your needs.
