He then meets these three people at the luxury hotel where he is staying: Belgian banker Hieronimo Manur, his wife Natalia and their companion Dato. Manur, a jealous husband, assigns Dato to keep his wife away from men's interests, but the young opera singer does not hesitate to court Natalia between rehearsals, and Dato, who observes this, conveys the situation to his boss.
