antwoord: When taken with food yes. Given these supplements are a very large 'iron' hit, and although not given, I expect the calcium element is extremely small, I expect (and I'm pretty sure the manufacturers would have thoroughly tested it) the effects are negligible. -

is those 24mg of elemental iron? or is it ferrous gluconate 24mg?
antwoord: It is ferrous gluconate, far less likely to upset your stomach and cause constipation. -

can you take these long term?
antwoord: I do. Tried getting enough iron from diet, but being lacto-ovo vegetarian and female I realised that it wasn't working. I get my symptoms of anaemia within days of not taking these. They're not harsh on my tummy either. Hope that info helps.
